Billing And Fees
Our dental anaesthesia fees are based on the duration of your treatment and booked accordingly (minimum of 1 hour). An estimate will be provided after we determine from your dentist how long your procedure will be. The sedation fees include post-operative monitoring and recovery and will generally require 30 minutes more than your actual treatment time. Some patients may require additional drugs and/or recovery time and the fees charged may reflect this. Deposits for bookings & Cancellation policy A non-refundable $250 deposit may be required to book your sedation and treatment time, depending on the duration of the appointment. Sedation bookings are often lengthy and are exclusively set aside for you by our practice. For this reason if you miss your appointment or cancel without a minimum of 2 weeks notice, you will incur a cancellation fee of $150 per 1/2 hour of booking time. Payment Methods Payment are required to be made on the day by Cash or credit card (Visa & MasterCard) All Eftpos and credit cards will incur a 2% surcharge. Insurance Information
Our dental anaesthesia practice is not a provider with any medical or dental insurance company. It is important that reimbursement for the dental anaesthesia fee by dental or medical insurance programs cannot be assumed. We are not affiliated with your dentist, surgeon or insurance company. Many insurance policies do not pay for dental anaesthesia services. Please check with your insurance company representative as to the benefits of your policy. Keep in mind a verbal approval or explanation of benefits (EOB) is not a guarantee of payment from your insurance carrier. As a courtesy, we will supply you with an itemised account with the corresponding item numbers for services rendered for your dental sedation to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Our dental sedation practice does not have a contract with your insurance company. We advise you to follow up with your insurance directly in regards to your reimbursement. |
